Mission

Help displaced veterans reintegrate back into society by providing personalized guidance to meet their needs. Each veteran has unique needs that require attention for full reintegration. We have volunteers go out and provide guidance to only one veteran at a time. They will discover what area the veteran needs help in and assist them through the different resources that we have and ones that are available in the community.

Junior Silva

LinkedIn

An Army Combat Veteran who is passionate for helping others especially fellow Veterans. He is a Cuban immigrant who decided to serve in the United States Army to change his own life. When he received orders for deployment, he decided to become a United States citizen to serve for a country he could call his own. When he came back from his deployment in Operation Iraqi Freedom he decided to volunteer with military organizations such as Morale Welfare Recreation and United Services Organization. He later received two Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals which are considered uncommon throughout military members. During his time volunteering he noticed there were a lot of displaced(homeless) Veterans and it didn't register in his head until then that something needed to be done. "Most of us are guilty in society of walking by a homeless person and ignoring them as if they are a part of the pavement."
